GREENEVERS RESIDENTS NEAR BROWNS TERRACE APARTMENTS:
Carr Town Road will be temporarily closed to traffic from Pasture Branch Road to the 140 block of Carr Town Road on Saturday, July 29th from 8 AM to 5 PM. The road is closed to enable a special event to occur at First Baptist Charity Church located at 133 Carr Town Road. Through traffic will be diverted via Cedar Lane and Clinic Circle Drive.
In accordance with the N.C. General Statutes 159-12(b), the Greenevers Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Greenevers Community Center. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input for the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023. All interested citizens are invited to attend the hearing.
The Town of Greenevers is currently working with engineering firm McDavid Associates to conduct an asset inventory and assessment of the water and sewer systems. The first portion of this project will require that McDavid Associates perform a complete GIS mapping of the water and sewer systems. McDavid Associates will visit all locations serviced by the Town of Greenevers Water and/or Sewer to locate and map all water and sewer services over the next several weeks. McDavid Associates employees completing the GIS mapping will travel to all service locations in a vehicle clearly marked with their name and contact information.
