Greenevers VFD Plate Sale, April 24th from 11 AM Until

Announcement! The Greenevers Volunteer Fire Department will be having a BBQ & BBQ Chicken dinner on Saturday April 24th from 11 AM until sold out! Plates are $8 a piece and the event will be held at the Greenevers Community Center on Clinic Circle Dr. This will be a drive-thru event only, no walk ups or sitting down to eat. This is a scaled back version of the annual Fireman’s Day due to COVID-19. Please come out to support your local fire department!
Passing of Mayor Clifton Williams

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Greenevers Mayor Clifton Williams. Williams was elected Mayor in 2015 and has served the Town of Greenevers in several other capacities over the years. Mayor Williams was a tireless advocate for the Town that he served. His desire for change and unwavering dedication to his community will be a lasting part of his legacy. The Town asks that everyone keep Mayor Williams’ family in your prayers during this difficult time. Services for Mayor Williams will be released at a later date.

The Town of Greenevers intends to file an application for federal financial assistance with the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service. The project includes improvements to the water distribution system and other water system infrastructure. Any comments regarding this application should be submitted to the Town of Greenevers.
